We moved all our stuff to Washington Saturday, March 13. Torrey got there with the moving van before I got there with the kids, and he had it all unloaded (with help from our new ward!) by the time I got there. The next week we were unpacking and unpacking and unpacking and unpacking..... and unpacking. The buys loved having all the room to run around the boxes, but didn't particularly like not having their toys and stuff right away.
The next weekend we took a roadtrip! We checked out Multnoma Fall in the gorge then headed out to the Oregon Coast. Yeah, it was FARRRRRR away! And of course as we're heading out of the coastal mountains to the coast, it starts raining (and it DIDN'T stop)! I made us get out and walk on the beach (I did put my arm out of the car and it was just misting). Well as soon as we got out the 20mph winds hit us. we were soaked by just waling out to the water and back, maybe 20ft. Oh my. Poor Bob-a-loo was crying "soaking, soaking, back to car, back to car!" We had dinner and didn't leave the coast till 8pm. The kids slept, but we didn't get back home till after 1am. Needless to say we were almost an hour late to church the next morning!
This last week was good, but not much unpacking happened. We have all the basic stuff out and I'm in no mood to unpack anymore. Hopefully we can get it all done this next week. Friday we drove back out to utah. So we're in Utah for the weekend. we cleaned more of the house that didn't get done when I left and Torrey got the lawn mowed. Work work work!
I'll try to get pic up of our adventures and our new place soon!

Wahsington here we come!
Well, it is official. We are moving to Washington... I know it has been official for a while, I just wasn't ready yet. I have been up here in the Tri Cities for the last week and I'm pretty sure I like it here. The house is just a block away from the Columbia River and the FABULOUS river trail. The boys and I go EVERY day for a walk and swing on the bench swings along the way (that's why monkey likes to walk anyway).
We're heading back to utah tomorrow and we'll get cracking on packing and getting ready to go. I'm really excited and quite nervous. But it will be really good to have the family all together again and I think Torrey will enjoy not having to sleep, eat and watch tv on the floor!

The Holidays!
The new year has come and gone and I didn't blog about any of it! Well, Christmas was fun, and lasted a week. We had parties 5 out of 8 days the week of Christmas. It was lots of fun, but going to the last party Monkey asked "after this party, then is Christmas over?" Apparently he was done.
We did go and see Santa, and the boys reacted completely opposite of what I expected. We were in a short line, so when it was our turn Bob-a-loo just walked right up to Santa with his arms up in the pick me up way. And Monkey was glued to my behind. He would not let go of me and would NOT talk to santa. I got to interpret his whispers in my ear, to santa. All the while, Bob-a-loo is happy sitting on the lap of a man he has never met before.
All in all we had a really fun Christmas. Christmas eve the boys got to open one present (jammies of course). When monkey opened the gift he gave a huge Uggh and said "That's not a fun present!" It was pretty funny, even though I had to tell him to be nice.
It is so fun watching the kids on Christmas morning. This year was somewhat interesting because the boys didn't feel to good. Monkey got up first and we had to wait a while for Bob-a-loo to wake. As soon as Monkey heard Bob-a-loo, he was in the room trying to pull his brother out. I walked in and asked bob-a-loo if he wanted to see what Santa brought, he YELLED "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" He was so ornery all morning. Otherwise it was a fun and of course, I completely forgot to take photos. I have NO documentation of our 2009 Christmas. Well we have some video of the kids coming down the stairs and looking at their gifts. Atleast there's something!

I'm a supervisor!
I'm very excited to announce that I have made it to Supervisor with Usborne Books and More!!! It was ALOT of work and stress, but I got through it! I'm very excited. Most people ask me what this means. Basically it means I make more money, I have people under me that I help, and I help with training meetings once a month. I'm just grateful that I could get to this position and hopefully the extra money will make a difference!

Going to Inverviews all over!
Last week we drove to Rock Springs, WY for an inverview with Terracon and then straight to Ely, NV for an interview with Peterson Mine. It was quite inveresting and long and crazy. At this point I don't care where we live as long as we are making money and can live again! I was impressed that I did like things more than I thought I would, for both towns.
Tomorrow we are heading up to Butte, Montana for an interview there as well. I'm excited to see the city and see what I think. It's starting to be an exciting time and I'm just hoping SOMETHING happens!

Bob-a-loo chipped his tooth!
So, I don't have a picture of the chipped tooth. I know what kind of scrapbooker am I??? We took him into the dentist and he suggest a crown. Yes a crown on a baby tooth, but it is the front tooth! Luckily the do sedation, much better then trying to hold down a screeming baby! He was NOT happy about the whole thing, but all in all did quite well. I even got the dentist to get some splinters out of his foot he got the day before! He was a little sore that afternoon, but otherwise he's doing great! Well, except that the tooth was loose, so he got a wire put on the first 4 teeth, to help the loose one heal, hopefully! Hey, if he evergets braces I will know what to expect. He does look cute! (I will get pics and post!!!)
